The Ultra-Fab Phoenix 4000 Electric Tongue Jack is a 12-volt motor-driven ball-screw jack for use on travel trailers, boat trailers, and cargo trailers. This jack was designed to replace an existing manual jack. The diameter of the outer tube will need to match the existing hole size or your will need to modify the hole diameter to fit. Save your original nuts, bolts, and washers, for use installing this jack. This jack operates by means of a touch pad located next to the motor housing. The touch pad includes a white/green/red indicator light, ON/OFF button, Extend and Retract buttons, and two memory buttons. Push the Extend button to extend the jack, and push the Retract button to retract the jack. The Auto-Extend and Auto-Retract features allow the user to extend or retract the jack leg without having to continually press and hold a button. One memory button can be used to remember certain height locations such as hooking and unhooking from a tow vehicle. A second memory button can be used for a second height location such as height required to attach chains for a weight distributing hitch. An emergency crank socket is included for manual operation. Recalibration must be performed after manual operation before resuming normal operation or damage could result. Other features include a durable powder coated finish, ball screw technology, and a built-in LED light for night operation. Do not use a flip-up type footpad with this jack, doing so requires the tongue jack to be altered which voids the warranty and can cause failure of the jack.
