Hi-Lift Jack Hi-Lift Cast/Steel Jack – 42 in.
Hi-Lift Jack Hi-Lift Cast/Steel Jack – 42 in.
This Hi-Lift Cast/Steel Jack is exactly the same as the all-cast jack, except that four of its parts are made from stamped, high-strength steel. This results in a lower price, without compromising strength or load capacity. The only tradeoff is longevity. This cast/steel model is great for the average user, but those who will use their jack on a daily basis with substantial pressure may want to consider the all-cast model instead. The Hi-Lift Jack is rugged, highly versatile, and puts you in command of situations requiring lifting, pushing, pulling, winching, and clamping. It comes complete with an adjustable top clamp/clevis for use in clamping and winching. The safety bolt is designed to shear at 7,000-pounds. For speedy disengaging, the lifting unit automatically drops away when the load is removed. It has a 4.5-inch long lifting nose for positive contact with the load. The climbing pins are made from specially processed steel with 125,000 PSI tensile strength and 100,000 PSI yield. The steel bar is manufactured of specially rolled extra high carbon steel with 80,000 minimum tensile and carbon .69 to .82. The steel bar can be reversed for extra long life. The steel handle is made of 14-gauge high-yield structural tubing with minimum yield of 55,000 PSI. The two-piece handle and socket design is built for extended life.
